Taking photos and presenting them is a form of storytelling. I’m not a great photographer, but I have a great camera and lens, which basically elevates me to the level of “decent” photographer. But sometimes, the fact that I’m not the BEST photographer has kept me from carrying my camera around. I have been hesitant to take photos and present them because I’m not professional, which is silly and now I know that. I’ve finally accepted that I will spend the rest of my life figuring out the intricacies of my camera and that many of my pictures are basically mediocre and saved by editing. But I’m forcing myself to carry my camera around these days because it helps me pay attention to the stories around me. If you hover over the photos header, you can see photos from China, Azerbaijan, and Ghana.
